Pup Exhilerating Vaction

I have boarded with Country Cottage Pets twice before and am about to take my ADHD boxer back to them for Christmas Break. I am never separated from my beloved pooch and on the certain occasions that it must be done I feel very safe about leaving her within their care. She is always happy to get dropped off; maybe its the nice facilities, the patient workers, the intense pet grooming, the other well treated and well mannered dogs, or she just likes taking a vaction like the rest of us! I have recomended Country Cottage Pets to many others and will continue to do so next time somebody asks why my boxer smells like flowers....

Hi! This is in response to the recent negative review. Please don't judge us by this reviewer's comments! We are a bit frazzled right now trying to finish our new state of the art luxury facility - we will be posting lots of photos in the next few weeks online at countrycottagepets. I have always felt a responsiblity to care for our guests personally and am very happy to announce that my cousin Pam, a fellow animal lover, has decided to help me full time. Her added help and organizational skills will be greatly appreciated! Along with my daughter-in-law Brenna (feline caretaker) and our very dear friend Patti, (super groomer!) I anticipate great things here at Country Cottage. Let me emphatically state that we have NEVER taken more pets than we can care for and our facility is cleaned to veterinary standards. We do prefer a "homey" and comfortable feeling to an austere & clinical atmosphere. Things do get a little messy when the "k-9 kids" are playing - it's all part of having a good time. The recent hurricanes have stretched our limits trying to accomodate people evacuating with their pets but everyone receives quality care and attention. We strive to develop a personal relationship with all our guests and care about their comfort AND feelings. At Country Cottage pets come before people! Please join in the excitement about our new addition "The Villa" at Country Cottage and then on to the remodeling of our original kennel which deserves a "new face" after 10 years. We will remain a family owned and operated business. Thanks to all our loyal customers for their support over the years. I am only giving us four stars right now - our goal over the next few months is to be a 5 Star Resort!!
Too Crowded, Very Unorganized

I have been to this kennel several times, the workers are always frazzled, and the place isn't clean. The prices are cheap but they always take more pets in than they have space for! Patti is a good groomer, but that's all I would go there for!

I feel more like I am leaving my pet with a friend than putting them in a Kennel. My pets go there with tails wagging and when i pick them up they seem even in a better mood!! They also have a great groomer and they now have play groups which i really like.

Nice place. We feel perfectly comfortable leaving our pups there. The dogs seem happy to go in and happy to come home.
